IT HAS A BEAUTYFULL LANDSCAPE ON THE VALLEY OF LUCCA CITY OF WHICH YOU CAN SEE ALL THE MIDDLE AGES CURCH TOWERS.
THE HOUSE HAS INDIPENDENT HEATING SYSTEM IN EVERY ROOM -THE COST HAVE TO BE CHARGED TO YOU BY THE USING(THERE IS A GAS READER IN CUBIC METRES) THE COST OF HEATING GAS CHANGE EVERY YEAR IF YOU WANT TO KNOW THE COST ASK ME-----AT YOUR ARRIVAL WE CHECK THE GAS READER TOGETHER AND WE SIGN THE COUNTER ON LEAVING DAY WE CHECK IT AGAIN AND MAKE THE PRICE FOR HOUSE NORMALLY NEED HEATING FROM MIDDLE OCTOBER UNTIL END OF APRIL BUT IF YOU NEED IT CAN BE START WHEN YOU WANT (HEATING DEPEND ALSO BY THE TEMPERATURE SEASON)

:La Casa di Toto is ideally situated for those who want direct access to a main road leading to surrounding cities and still want to enjoy the pleasure of the countryside. The house has the authentic charm of an old farmers house, and has been furnished efficiently for 8/10 PERSONS. We had guests over one night and used the folding beds that we found in the storage room. We cooked a lot and appreciated the large and well equipped kitchen and as well as the barbecue. The outside area is really marvelous : a shady dining place, a pergola with stunning view over the hill and the city of Lucca, and of course the swimming pool surrounded by olive trees and again offering a wonderful view. We visited Barga and hiked up to the beautiful and deserted village of Sommocolinia, we went to Lucca, Firenze, Pisa and also to Marina di Pisa and the nice new marina. We had a day at the beach south from Viareggio. Finally we found some nice hiking possibilities starting from casa di Toto, you can walk up to Monte Catino and enjoy a great view in all directions. Toto is a great host and will help you out wherever he can, he lives next door but his house has a separate entrance and you really have perfect privacy. The only regret we had was that the holidays were over to soon!

Guy B. recensione 20-lug-2015:We stayed for one week at la casa de Toto. To start with Toto is very nice and helpful and has plenty of tips and advices for things to visit and to see in the region. To get to the house you will need to take the steep climb with the car on the private road (about 1 km) but although this looked a bit adventerous the first time we got used to it pretty fast and also managed to climb the hill with our bikes. The house has a magnificent view over the Lucca valley and we were very happy that we could use the pool to refresh ourselves during these very hot days. The house is a remarkable historical farm nicely renovated and is spacious, clean and fully equipped. We visited Lucca (by bike), Pisa, Siena, 5-terre, Pania de la croce (hike) and Barga (and Sommocolonia).

Voor ons is het bijna als thuis komen in honden kunnen genieten van de vrijheid in de tuin terwijl wij rustig een glaasje wijn drinken van de plaatselijke wijngaard. You can mix totally relaxed days by the house's swimming pool with the trips to visit places like Lucca, Pisa, Cinque Terre, Ligurian coast. Soggiorno fantastico
Abbiamo trascorso 10 giorni fantastici in Toscana con due famiglie e cinque bambini. L'approccio alla casa è un po' avventuroso ma per noi con il minivan è fattibile, la posizione compensa ogni sforzo. La casa è arredata con amore, la cucina è grande e completamente attrezzata. Non manca proprio niente. Il giardino è molto ben curato, la vista sulla valle dalla terrazza e dalla piscina è un sogno. Toto e sua moglie sono stati ospiti generosi e sempre facilmente raggiungibili. Grazie per un soggiorno fantastico!

FANTASTIC
Siamo arrivati alla casa di Toto solo poche settimane fa (aprile 2024) - la strada per arrivarci è avventurosa ma nulla di impossibile - avevamo il furgone ma ho capito perché T (il proprietario) consigliava la macchina - la casa è più grande di quanto immagini dalle foto. 3 piani - grande cucina con tutto il necessario per cucinare, camino, molte grandi camere da letto sufficienti per 10/12 persone, area esterna con un bellissimo giardino, terrazza e casetta sull'albero per i bambini, una piscina incredibile in un punto spettacolare in mezzo agli ulivi, non posso spiegare bene la sensazione che si prova quando si è lì - semplicemente un angolo di paradiso.

Un posto per tutti: dal nuoto al relax
La casa si trova a metà strada sulla collina, abbastanza lontano dalla strada principale per essere molto tranquilla (se i capricci sono andati a letto...). La strada è un po' avventurosa, ma ci si abitua durante il soggiorno.
La casa stessa ha circa 400 anni con mura spesse, che la mantengono confortevole anche a temperature più elevate. Le stanze sono più grandi di quanto appaiano nelle foto. Ciò che mi è piaciuto di più è la cucina con la sua attrezzatura molto ricca (anche se il tempo era sempre così buono che potevamo sederci fuori).
All'esterno ci sono tre spazi per tutti:
- La zona attività vicino alla piscina (sempre pulita e dotata di quattro ombrelloni e sei lettini)
- La terrazza/serra per chi vuole leggere un libro in tranquillità
- (il mio preferito assoluto) il luogo del barbecue di fronte alla casa - il punto di incontro per mangiare, giocare, bere... Sempre una leggera brezza - molto confortevole.
L'host vive nell'altra parte della casa - un ragazzo molto amichevole - assolutamente discreto, ma se hai bisogno di qualsiasi tipo di supporto, è lì.
Conclusione: Un posto stupendo per tutti.

luogo perfetto: estremamente rilassante
La casa di Toto è migliore di quanto si possa vedere dalle foto - tutte le stanze sono più grandi di quanto si possa immaginare - la casa è molto pulita e la cucina è completamente attrezzata - il giardino è grande e la terrazza ti offre un posto relax per leggere, dormire, bere, ecc. La pergola appena fuori dalla porta principale è fantastica per pranzare, fare colazione, cenare con uno dei paesaggi migliori che abbia mai visto - la piscina è abbastanza grande, è in una buona posizione nel mezzo dell'uliveto e completamente privata - molte grazie a Toto per averci dato buone informazioni su posti da visitare e ottimi ristoranti originali (non per turisti) a Lucca e dintorni -
